    From electing a nitwit into the highest seat in the Oval Office to the phenomenal headline renaming a popular festival to “Beychella”, the media is taking us on a rollercoaster ride. I hardly ever watch television anymore but that doesn’t mean that the negative reports don’t make their way into my subconscious through outlets like Facebook and instagram.     I had the pleasure of attending the Women’s travel festival in San Francisco, California and meeting the founder of The Women’s Travel Fest, Kelly Lewis. This was a great experience for me because there are times when I share my travel experiences with other women and more often than not I get reactions such as ” Weren’t you scared?” or “Isn’t traveling alone as a woman dangerous?” I immediately think to myself WTF!?!?!     Passport 2 Pretty is all about traveling and when I got the call to attend the Women’s Travel Fest, there were no questions asked, only bags packed.
